To protect Roseville’s most flood-prone neighborhoods, the City built the Flood Risk Reduction Facilities after major floods in 1986 and 1995. This system includes 2 miles of floodwalls, levees, bypass channels, tunnels, and five pump stations that move stormwater into nearby creeks.

Now 25 years old, the pump stations are undergoing major rehabilitation to ensure continued reliability. This proactive work helps reduce flood risk for these neighborhoods well into the future.
