New traffic signals, minor paving work, updated road markings, and street sign upgrades along Westbrook Boulevard are planned for late summer 2026 at the following intersections:
- Solaire Drive
- Earl Rush Drive
- Nicole Gee Drive
- Vista Grande Boulevard
- Sierra Village Drive
These planned improvements support traffic needs, pedestrian safety, and the new Placer Valley Soccer Complex.
Project construction begins the week of August 3, 2026 and will be completed in 2027.
Working hours vary by intersection. Generally they are 7 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday.
Construction work will be scheduled to minimize impacts on the public, with working hours planned to reduce disruptions and account for school traffic.
Timelines are approximate and subject to change.
During construction, there will be lane closures with flaggers present and intermittent sidewalk closures.
Please be prepared for increased noise levels. You may notice work vehicles near the intersections.
Pleas slow down and travel with care in the work zone.

The estimated cost is $1.718 million, which will be funded by developer-paid Traffic Mitigation Fees.
These fees are gradually collected as development occurs and help the City to construct transportation projects identified in the Capital Improvement Program. Improvements mitigate anticipated traffic impacts from the build-out and construction of existing and new development projects.
