Design is underway on a planned project to widen Roseville Parkway, between Gibson Drive and Creekside Ridge Drive intersections. Roadway improvements at the Pleasant Grove Boulevard intersection are also included.
Future roadway widening in this area was identified in the 2035 General Plan. This project is constructing these planned improvements. It also reflects Roseville’s planning approach, where infrastructure needs are identified and delivered in phases as the community grows.
This six-lane arterial roadway links regional shopping and dining destinations, office buildings, and residential neighborhoods.
The project will be constructed in two phases and is part of the City Council-approved Capital Improvement Plan.
Phase 1:
Much of the widening will be accomplished by converting the current auxiliary lanes to through lanes.

Design
Funding for the design phase is provided by developer-paid Traffic Mitigation Fees. These fees are gradually collected as development occurs and help the City to construct transportation projects identified in the Capital Improvement Program. Improvements address anticipated traffic impacts from new and existing development projects.
