Preparing for sidewalk maintenance
Crews will be in the Foothills and Junction Boulevard areas removing select City-owned trees. These trees have caused ongoing sidewalk damage and safety concerns. This work is the first step in repairing and improving sidewalks in your area.
We understand trees are an important part of Roseville’s streetscapes. Tree removal is carefully considered and only done when necessary for safety and infrastructure protection.
Landscaping plans are being developed to follow sidewalk repairs.
Thank you for your patience during this important maintenance work.

This work was funded by the Highway Users Tax, Senate Bill 1 Road Maintenance & Rehabilitation, and CalRecycle’s Rubberized Pavement Grant, totaling approximately $15.49 million. The project also diverted over 24,000 California waste tires from landfills through rubberized pavement use.
The City upgraded residential curb ramps to meet ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) standards, as required by law. These improvements were funded by the Highway Users Tax and the Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Fund, totaling approximately $1.8 million across all phases.
