A new surface parking lot will be constructed to add parking in Historic Old Town Roseville. The project site is located north of the existing parking lot at Lincoln and Pacific Street and west of the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) rail yard.

Construction includes the following improvements:
  • 127 parking spaces, including five accessible spaces and 12 electric vehicle charging spaces
  • Extension of Roundhouse Row alley that will connect Lincoln Street to the new parking lot, providing more direct pedestrian access to nearby businesses and housing.
  • Lighting and landscaping throughout the parking lot and along the alley.

The site is a former UPRR property that was acquired by the City of Roseville in January 2025.

Construction is scheduled summer 2026 through spring 2027.

Work hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Construction is estimated to cost approximately $3.9 million and is funded through the local Strategic Improvement Fund. No General Fund resources will be used for this project.
