The Downtown Holiday Celebration includes a series of holiday events including:

Tree Grove: Local businesses, organizations, and schools decorate over 40 festive trees throughout the square. Watch the grove officially light up, create holiday crafts, enjoy holiday music, visit with Santa and shop from local vendors for the perfect one-of-a-kind holiday gift. Free event.

Tree Lighting: It's the most wonderful time of year! The City's Christmas tree is officially lit on the Square. Event features old fashion celebration and holiday cheer with decorating cookies, visiting Santa, kids activity zone, music, food and celebration. Free event.

North Pole Tavern: Participants taste delicious wine and beer, while enjoying live music, food trucks and some holiday fun. Ticketed event.

Be a part of Roseville's Thanksgiving Day tradition- Turkey Trot! This long standing event draws more than 3000 registered participants with an additional 1000 spectators. 

Turkey Trot 2026 Sponsorship Packages 

Build connections with families in our tot programs. Tot Tuesdays/Thursdays is a weekly playdate designed just for young children ages 5 and under and their parents or caregivers. Each morning, families gather at the Vernon Street Town Square (summer season) or at Maidu Community Center (fall & winter season) for an hour of active play, creative crafting, and music exploration. Activities change each week, keeping the experience fresh, engaging, and exciting for returning families.
