Library Tours

Library tours are usually 30 minutes and held for groups of 15 or more school-aged visitors, though age range can vary. Tours are typically scheduled in the mornings, when the library is best able to accommodate larger groups and provide an engaging experience.

Because library tours require coordination and preparation to provide the best experience, we ask that any tour request forms are submitted at least one month in advance.

Library Outreach

Library outreach events typically take place within city limits and are designed to provide community members with information about the library. Most outreach events involve setting up a table stocked with engaging activities and informational materials, along with a staff member or two who can answer questions and help get people connected with library resources. While the library does maintain a mobile library van, it's reserved for select occasions and is not usually brought to standard outreach events.
