The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a leadership opportunity for Roseville teens in grades 8 through 12. Make a positive difference in our local community by sharing your input on how the library can best serves teens!
Required Commitment
- TAB runs year-round starting August 1, 2025. You can join TAB at any time and start making a difference in the library and your community
- Members may stay involved as long as they wish and can participate until they graduate high school
- Attend and participate fully in the TAB meetings at Riley Library on the first Monday of every month from 4:00-5:30pm or Maidu Library on the second Monday of every month from 4:00-5:30pm.
- Serve as Teen Ambassador and help promote the library
- Help judge teen contests (writing and art)
- Complete a Teen Advisory Board survey
- Sponsor a library event during the school year. All TAB members are expected to help with at least one event to stay in good standing – i.e. with the planning, or with the set up, and clean up. This usually requires time outside of the monthly meetings.
- Note: After two unexcused absences, a TAB member will lose their position and must reapply for membership.
