The Roseville Fire Department provides comprehensive emergency services, responding to fires, medical incidents, rescues, and disasters. Our focus is to protect and enhance the safety and well-being of the community through timely, professional, and compassionate service.

The department operates nine strategically located fire stations across the city to support a rapid response when emergencies occur. Our goal is to have a fire engine arrive within approximately six and a half minutes of a 911 call.

Each station is equipped with a fire engine, the most versatile apparatus in our fleet. These engines carry water, firefighting tools, and advanced medical equipment. Every engine is staffed by a Captain, an Engineer, and a firefighter who is also trained as a paramedic.

Two stations also house ladder trucks, which carry specialized equipment for complex incidents, including vehicle extrication tools and aerial ladders that allow crews to safely reach elevated areas.

Several stations are also equipped with smaller wildland engines designed for off-road use, allowing crews to effectively respond to fires in open space and vegetation areas.

For larger or more complex emergencies, a Battalion Chief responds to provide command and coordination, ensuring incidents are managed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with the department’s commitment to excellence and service.
