Municipal code requirement
Roseville Municipal Code 9.12.030 requires commercial businesses, including multi-family residential properties, to:
- Subscribe to and maintain organic waste collection services for all organic waste
- Ensure containers are adequate in number and size for proper material separation
- Adjust service levels if requested by the City
Generators may also reduce organic waste by preventing waste, managing materials on-site, or using a community composting program in accordance with 14 CCR Section 18984.9(c).
