What tier am I? Tier 1 or Tier 2?

The tier you are covered under was established by your hire date. Using the table below, find your previously covered unit and use the date you were hired:

Example 1: A Local 39 member who was hired in 1999, is Tier 1.

Example 2: a Local 39 member who was hired in 2009, is Tier 2.

Example 3: an RPOA member who was hired in 2004, is Tier 1.

Example 4: an RPOA member who was hired in 2005, is Tier 2.
