The Disbursements division is responsible for the timely calculation and payment of payroll, payments to vendors, CalPERS administration and reporting, and retiree health administration and payment. The division also ensures compliance with all federal and state payroll and accounts payable reporting requirements.

Additionally, Payroll develops the salaries, wages, and benefits portion of the annual budget and coordinates with Human Resources to maintain the citywide position allocation schedule.
