This lunchtime session is designed for entrepreneurs who are new to state contracting or looking for a quick refresher. Now that you’re certified as a Small Business or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise, learn how to begin offering your products or services to the state.
Participants will learn the fundamentals in a simple, approachable format. The workshop includes clear guidance on where to find contracting opportunities, improving your Cal eProcure profile, and resources. A short Q&A will follow the main presentation.
Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
This workshop series, in partnership with the Small Business Development Center, will be held once a month and is designed to guide aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners through the key steps of starting and growing a successful business.

High school students from around the region are participating in Roseville Rising, a 12-week program designed to inspire entrepreneurial ideas and innovation.
Students have the opportunity to:
- Work as a team to identify and design a potential product or business solution.
- Use business tools like Lean Canvas.
- Meet entrepreneurs building companies in our region.
- Prepare a business pitch to be presented at the end of the program to parents, community 'investors' and teachers. Prizes will be awarded to students for best pitch, most impactful solution, and most collaborative team.
There is no cost to participate in Roseville Rising.
