Royer Park

Royer Park

The 17-acre park was purchased from the Royer family in 1917 and since then the park has been substantially updated. A new, destination-style playground was installed in 2023 to replace the older school-age structure. The park also features a separate preschool-age play area, a baseball field, tennis courts, and a full basketball court decorated with the Sacramento Kings logo. Visitors can enjoy open grass fields with mature trees, shaded picnic spots, a stage for live summer concerts, and the Art Center @ Royer Park. Additionally, easy trail access connects the park to the Roseville Downtown Library, Town Square, and historic Vernon Street.

Hours: Park opens at sunrise and closes one hour after sunset
Namesake: Royer Family - Pioneers and early settlers of the region. Because the land came from the family and they helped build the community, naming the park after them was a way to honor their lasting impact on Roseville's history.
