You get the League of Explorers Expo, an exciting celebration of science, exploration, and imagination that marks the grand finale of another incredible year of adventure.
Held on Saturday, July 25, from 9 to 11:30 a.m., at the Utility Exploration Center, the Expo serves as the culminating event for the summer League of Explorers program. Throughout the season, participating Explorers have investigated topics such as water, energy, waste reduction, natural resources, climate solutions, and how city systems work. Now, they're ready to showcase what they've learned through interactive Expo Exhibits, science fair-style projects that highlight their research, discoveries, and creative problem-solving skills.
When doors open at 9 a.m., visitors will have the opportunity to check out the Expo, where they can meet the students behind the projects, learn about their findings, and see firsthand how these young minds are tackling real-world environmental challenges. Community members can also cast their vote for the People's Choice Award, helping recognize their favorite exhibit.
The excitement continues outside in the courtyard with climate carnival games and lab demonstrations, featuring hands-on activities and interactive experiences centered around environmental and utility topics. Inside the lab, guests can enjoy light refreshments while viewing a slideshow highlighting memorable moments and accomplishments from this year's League of Explorers program.
Families can also pick up an August Take-Home Mission Kit, where participants will become a "Drought Defender" and complete challenges designed to support water conservation efforts right here in Roseville.
