Share your thoughts on Roseville Transit’s proposed fare changes
Oct 16, 2026
Roseville Transit is proposing fare changes for Commuter, Arrow and Rapid Link services to help simplify and streamline the purchasing experience for riders and fare processing for transit staff.
The proposed fare changes are part of Transportation 360, a service improvement plan guided by extensive public participation in 2023-2024 and adopted by the City Council in 2025.
For Commuter service, the proposal would establish a single fare for all riders. Roseville residents with a valid Discount ID currently pay $3.25, while the general fare is $4.50. If approved, all riders would pay a $4 fare, eliminating the need to show a Resident Discount ID
Public Hearing Notice
If approved by the Transportation Commission, the proposal will move forward to the City Council for consideration at its Dec. 2 and Dec. 16 meetings. If approved, the fare changes would take effect in 2027.
