What does it take to store water underground for the future? Come see for yourself! Step inside one of Roseville’s working groundwater well sites for a behind-the-scenes look at how we store water beneath our feet and use it to help strengthen our water supply for the future.

Drop in anytime to explore the site, meet the people who help manage Roseville’s water supply and get an up-close look at groundwater in action.

What to expect

See a working groundwater well up close and learn how water is moved, monitored and stored underground. Talk with Roseville water professionals, check out some of the equipment that keeps the system running and get your groundwater questions answered. Kids can join in with a groundwater coloring activity, and refreshments will be available.

People drive by Roseville’s groundwater wells every day without knowing what happens inside. Come take a look at how we store water underground and bring it back up when we need it.

Planning to stop by? Let us know! RSVPs aren’t required, but they help us prepare for the day. RSVP to receive an event reminder, tell us how many people are coming and even send us your groundwater questions in advance. You’re still welcome to drop in anytime between 10 a.m. and noon, even if you don’t RSVP.

Parking and weather

Street parking is available near the facility. Please avoid blocking driveways or access. The event will be canceled in the event of rain or severe weather. Those who RSVP will receive an update if plans change.
