Goat Meet & Greet Pop Up

Jun 8, 2026

The goats are back, and they're bringing some new friends and activities with them!

Roseville residents are invited to attend the Goat Meet & Greet, a free family-friendly event that offers a unique opportunity to get up close with the hardworking goats that help manage vegetation in Roseville parks.

This year's events will take place from 9:00am to 12:00pm at two locations:

  • Maidu Regional Park – June 17
  • Mahany Park – June 19

Visitors can meet and pet adorable baby goats while learning about the important role goats play in weed abatement and wildfire prevention efforts throughout the community.

New this year, the Roseville Public Library will host a special goat-themed Storytime at 10:00am, providing a fun and educational experience for younger attendees. The Roseville Fire Department will also be on-site to share information about how goat grazing helps reduce fire risk by removing excess vegetation.

In addition to meeting the goats, attendees can enjoy goat-themed crafts and activities, sweet treats and opportunities to learn more about local environmental stewardship.

Whether you're a longtime goat fan or simply looking for a fun family outing, the Goat Meet & Greet is a great way to connect with the community and learn about the innovative ways Roseville helps care for its parks and open spaces.

Admission is free. No registration is required.
